Description

The name Trangia is derived from the village of Trng. For decades, the name has been one of the outdoor market's strongest brands in both Sweden and internationally. Trangia represents long experience, solid competence and modern design. The Trangia stove has during its 60 years been developed and refined. At Trangia, quality includes dedicated development in all areas of our business, including choice of material, manufacturing, design, performance and safety. The Trangia stove is still manufactured in Sweden, in the same village located in the mountains of Jmtland in the north of Sweden where the business started 90 years ago. The proximity of the mountain has made practical tests in harsh weather conditions a natural part of the business. Details have been modernised and function has been optimised. With all parts of the company gathered in one place, close to nature, it can be ensured that every detail in Trangia camping stoves stands for true quality. However, the original, ingenious design is still the key to today's successful Trangia stove! Environmental thinking is self-evident to those of us who live close to nature. The manufacturing is therefore environmentally optimised, including the water used during surface treatment undergoing total purification before leaving the factory. The packaging is manufactured from environmentally approved cardboard and is 100 % recyclable. The cardboard is included in the German Der Grne Punkt system. The Trangia Series 27 offers good stoves for the lone walker or for two people! You're provided with a small, compact stove that takes up minimal room in the rucksack. You may also choose to use a large billy on the raised supports in the upper windshield. All the stove systems in the 27 series have two 1-litre saucepans (1 graded, 1 ungraded), an 18cm frying pan, windshields (upper and lower), a burner, a pan grip and a strap. We recommend the use of a Trangia Fuel Bottle (sold separately) to store the fuel for your Trangia stove! These polythene multi-fuel bottles have a safety valve to ensure safe, controlled fuel outflow. Ultralight aluminium is 50% stronger than ordinary aluminium. Consequently, less material is required to manufacture the stove system. As a result, they are lighter. The Trangia aluminium stove systems spread heat quickly and evenly. This means that food does not, for example, burn and stick to the centre of the frying pan. This excellent model has the same ultralight construction as the 27-1 and with the addition of a 600ml kettle!
