Once the mat is fully inflated close the valve. Lie on the mat to measure comfort. If the mat is hard, open valve while laying on it to allow air to escape. close valve when the mat is soft enough. Deflation: To deflate open up the valve and roll the mat up. Place knees on the mat to squeeze last bits of air out. Close valve and place in stuff sack provided.
